How to use this with a VPN
Find the title, note a country that has it, connect your VPN to a server there, and reload Netflix — a full page reload or app restart, because Netflix caches the region. If you see "you seem to be using a VPN or proxy", the server's address range is on Netflix's blocklist; try another server in the same country. Providers that maintain servers Netflix has not yet flagged are scored on the Netflix list.
Why the libraries differ so much
Netflix licenses most of its catalogue from studios, and studios sell rights country by country to whoever pays most. In the US, the old NBC and Warner sitcoms went to Peacock and Max; in the UK and Canada the same shows are on Netflix because those services do not exist there. Japan's library is heavy with anime because Netflix Japan licenses directly from the studios; India's has Bollywood titles Netflix bought for the domestic market. Originals sidestep all of this, which is why Netflix spends so much making them.
What this tool does not do
It is not a live catalogue, and it covers 83 titles, not the tens of thousands on the service. The intent is to answer the specific question — "which country has this?" — for the shows people most often ask about, with a date on the answer. A searchable live version needs a catalogue feed we would have to license; that is the roadmap.

Why is a show on Netflix in one country and not another?
Licensing. Netflix buys streaming rights per territory, and for anything it did not produce itself, another service may hold the rights in your country. Netflix originals are the exception: they are available everywhere Netflix operates, which is what "global" means in this list.
Which Netflix library is the biggest?
By title count, Slovakia, Bulgaria and the UK have led recent counts, with the US library large but not the largest. The US has the most originals and licensed US network shows; the UK and Canada have long runs of American sitcoms that are on other services in the US. Japan and South Korea have the deepest anime and K-drama catalogues.
How do I watch another country's Netflix?
Connect a VPN to a server in that country and reload Netflix. Netflix blocks the IP ranges of most datacentres, so not every provider or server works; the streaming list on this site scores providers on exactly that, and the status for Netflix is on every review.
Is using a VPN with Netflix allowed?
Netflix's terms say you may only watch content in the country where you established your account, and it actively blocks VPN addresses. It has never suspended an account for it; the practical outcome is an error message until you find a working server. In most countries it is not illegal. Netflix also now shows only originals to detected VPN users in some regions rather than blocking outright.
How accurate is this list?
It is a curated set of titles people search for most, compiled from public catalogue trackers and re-checked on the date shown. Licences change monthly and this is not a live feed. A missing region does not always mean the title is absent; it means we did not confirm it. Report errors via the contact page.
